food and finals

My professor brought everyone an Old Gristmill sugar cookie before the final exam. He also prefaced it with "My idea of an afterlife is a God figure handing these cookies out to everyone." He was my favorite before, but that even stepped it up a notch. 

Walking up to take a final, the Lutheran church was giving out free breakfast, just like they have done every day this week. Thank you for the banana and granola bar, especially when besides cereal and half a squash that's about all I have in my apartment.

The campus store is giving free popcorn.

Food. I'm grateful for food.
